FAQs
Why do I need to complete a consultation form? The client consultation is an extremely important element of the massage process. It is at this time that the therapist determines what the client wants, what their medical history is, and how to perform the massage to best suit the individual.
How do I pay for my treatment? When booking, you can choose to pay by bank transfer, Paypal invoice or cash.
Where will my massage take place? The treatment can take place wherever you feel is comfortable and suitable in your home or office. It needs to be a quiet and private area. Please make sure the space has enough room for a massage bed to fit, as well as no obstruction around it so that Caroline can move around the bed.
Do I need to supply anything on the day? Please just have two large towels available to help with covering. The treatment will require a quiet and private space with a suitable room temperature for you. We want to create a comfortable and relaxing environment to ensure a more enjoyable and effective at-home massage experience.
Can I have my treatment in my workplace/office? Absolutely. As long as a private and safe space is available. Please make sure you can still supply two towels or suitable covering.
What happens when Caroline arrives? Caroline will need to set up the bed and prepare. This will take just a few minutes. When you are ready, you can let her know and inform her of any information you feel is important for the treatment.
Can the massage be adapted for individuals who have given birth recently? Caroline has been trained in both pregnancy and post natal massage. She understands every individual has unique needs at these times. Your massage will adapted to use proper body positioning and techniques to ensure safety, comfort and pure relaxation. Caroline will chat this through with you, so please make sure you state in your consultation form if theres anything you'd like her to know beforehand.
What happens if I want more or less pressure during the treatment? You just need to ask! Please let Caroline know at any point during the treament if you need more or less pressure.
What is the cancellation policy? As a massage therapist, I understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise and appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled. To ensure that I can provide the best possible service to all of my clients, I have a cancellation policy in place. My cancellation policy states that clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment without any charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. If a client cancels or reschedules within 24 hours of the appointment, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total session cost will be charged, unless the appointment is rescheduled within a week of the originally scheduled date. This policy is in place to ensure that I am able to maintain my schedule and provide quality service to all of my clients. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy. Do I need to wear a face mask? You do not need to wear a face mask. If you want Caroline to wear a face mask during the appointment, please just state this when you are booking the appointment.
